what to do with 97 camry

hey, so i was thinking to buy a 97 camry in a few months but want to know which i should do:

buy a 4 cyclinder and put a turbo and intercooler

or buy a V6 and dont do anything to it

but i really want the PSh sound and nice looking intercooler so i was wondering if anyone knows if the turboa nd intercooler will bring teh HP to the same as V6 engine? and reason why i dont want to turbo teh V6 is because of gas money dont have alot of fundings

Thanks

wow...well first. welcome to TN.

this thread is prolly gonna get locked so heres the low down. unless you know what your doing, have lots of money to spend, have lots of time, and do lots of reaserch then turbo is not a rout you should consider. but i would just get a V6 ot go find another car thats already turboed.

use the search function to learm about turboing the 4cyl, 6cyl, 5 speeds...ect. its all been covered in past threads. then come back with more specifiquestions we can anweser better.

Get the V6 and swap a 5 speed in it. It is not worth it to turbo the 4 cylinder.

its not worth it but its a possibility, many mr2 and celica guys have turbo'd 5s' (4 cylinder) so keep that as an option even i want a v6 sc but i'll have to settle with a turbo charged 4 cylinder

easiest and BEST thing to do will be to find a 97-01 V6 5 speed.
