Gen5 springs on Gen4?

I found a small comment somewhere that gen5 camry springs are the same as gen4 springs. ebay kinda comfirmed this by showing that a set of tein h-techs have the same part number for 97-01 as it does for 02-04 (not sure why it doesn't include thru 06, but some ebay sellers are not so accurate...)

has anyone ever put gen5 springs onto their gen4, or vice versa?

did a little more poking around on ebay and other sites comparing part numbers... seems the 02-03 (not 04 - the specify that it should have been built before some time around sept 2003) tend to have the same p/n as 97-01. Makes sense since the Solara changed in 04, and they must have made the underpinnings the same for both solara and camry. isn't 04 when they introduced the 1grfe 3.5L v6 and the current avalon (and es350) too?

whole reason i'm asking is b/c a buddy of mine with an 02 recently upgraded to full coilovers, and so he's got tein s-techs sitting in his garage. I can't stand the stock mush i've been riding on since I took off the ground controls, so I figured I'd look into it. Looks like it's a go!

If/when I end up getting his springs and installing them, I'll post up the results.
