94 camry 2.2 engine smoke after highway

Hi, I don't know what is wrong but after driving at highway for 30 mins at 100-110 km/hr, i can smell some smoke from the engine, I open the hood and there is some smoke from the engine, don't know where it is coming from. Could it be the coolant? Please advised.

If it were a huge amount of smoke and the car stopped I'd say it was a blown head gasket.

It sounds more like overheating though, flush out your coolant and replace asap!

Coolant will have a sweet smell to it, and will typically steam when its hot, very distinctive from a typical burning scent. Black smoke that is strong smelling = no good. You will know if its bad when the smoke is thick also.

yeah if you see black dots around the front of your engine, that's typically a leak. Look on all black plastic parts in the engine bay, all hoses. Out of my expierences, most of the time its usually a pin size hole and will spray lightly but cover a lot. Look towards bottom of radiator also.
