ok did a little searching
need to know what types of trans that are able to fit the 1mzfe and where to get it
what type of axles i need to get
the shifter and the donor car it comes from
and the best clutch to use for a dd and for possible mods in the future

did you even check out thoes 2 links??? most of the info youll need and the anwsers to the questions ya just asked can be found there. parts, cost, advice...ect. and id get a second opinion on that rebuild...3K is WAY too much for a auto tranny rebuild.

the trannys came from MR2, solara, es300, and 92-92 camry SE. and an OEM clutch will do fin for a DD but upgradign the flywheel and clutch couldnt hurt.
