Side LEFT KNEE hitting Door/Windows CONTROL Panel; 94Camry

Hi,

I searched this forum and nobody ever mentioned this so I venture in asking your opinion. Please tell me I am not the only one who notices this.

On the 1994 Camry (4cyl):

The door-lock/windows-control panel has an edge which hits my left knee (the outer side of the knee) if I forget about it when I'm tired.

Why on earth did they not round this edge a little more ?

Besides, the 90-91 camry has the control location a little higher, which is much more ergonomic, since you don't need to reach down at all.

Is the control location higher for 97 and-after camry ?

Thanks everyone for your comments.

You're like me, you need an SUV to ride comfortably but your budget only allows a compact :P

Not always true !

I'm very comfortable in the toyota's mattrix or new corolla. Those have size comparable to the Camry.
