Catylic Converter gasket

so this past weekend i decided to unbolt the cat just for shits and giggles. it was fun for a day and the next day i went to put it back on and i got a leak and couldnt figure out why because it was bolted back on tightly

well today i took it to the muffler shop and they told me i broke a gasket... and they told me that it would be a $40 dollar replacement.

does that seem a little steep or does that sound right and where could i find these cause they told me its pretty easy to replace

it's all pretty well labor isn't it? They are likely charging you a 1hr or 1/2 hr minimum.
