Canada rx330 rims on a camry xle?

hi, i'm new to this forum. its awsome.

i have a 2000 camry xle and i have some lexus rx330 rims i want to put on it.

i dug up some info on the rims and they are 18x7jj with +35mm offset.

will these fit my car with 225/40/18 tires or will they be too wide. would i need spacers in the back? i don't want to have to get into that.

any info would be great. my stock rims/tires are 205/60/16 with +45mm offest i think.

i just don't want to spend 800 on tires if its not going to work.

thanks.

I believe the centerbore is 60.1mm on the lexus rx330 and if it is, this will be great since the 2000 camry centerbore is also 60.1mm.

18x7 with 35mm offset on 225/40/18 tires have a bit smaller overall wheel+tire diameter than your stock 205/60/16 so you will be going a bit slower than what your speedometer reads. The ideal tire size on 18's should be 225/45/18 but you could run 225/40/18 right now if you don't mind.

I don't think you will need spacers or anything to clear since the 35mm offset will take care of that. My current setup on a 2001 camry is 17x7 225/45/17 35mm offset and nothing is rubbing or scrubbing.

You can put spacers if you want for that flush look but if you plan to go this route, make sure you get extended studs and proper lug nuts
