Manual Lock Stopped Working and then Started Working Again
The locks on my 98 Camry stopped working for about two months. I could unlock the car from the inside, but could not lock the doors from the inside. One day I turned on the car and while the car was running I unlocked the doors. I pulled away (the doors still unlocked) and while driving, I heard a click and the doors had locked. Even after that, they remained inoperable for a few weeks and then suddenly started working again.
It's not an issue I need to address, but I am just curious if anyone else has had the same experience. The car is equiped with power locks and windows and I'm not sure what would have caused this to happen.
