3rd & 4th Generation (1992–1996 & 1997–2001)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 1992-1996 & 1997-2001
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
The sound should be better than the current factory one I have now, right?
Of course, if you want it to sound grand i recommend hooking a reasonable ratted amp to your aftermarket coax or component speakers, I've gone through lots of audio system setups, Loudest on the TL i did was 146.7 db with a atomic 5000.1 amp and a single 15" DD cf cone subwoofer in the camry.
To me the newer alpines don't entice me much, the only alpine i would get are the the alpine 7998 wich have no pre amp at all, good for a custom system. Second is the glide screen one, both of whichwas made years ago.
I curently use an pionneer that flips down ( don't get anything that has a slot in it on the face for cd, it's too old school)
Also kenwoods are not bad at all just stay away from their amplifiers, i hit the 146db with their deck with the usb card the models with the 3V output.
