well my 93 has about 170,000 on it and i'm deffinately going change the timing belt and water pump. i'm really new to Toyota's, i'm use to old school like my Z31,but whatever
.I've seen pics of a 5s without a valve cover and no timing belt?

My favorite is probably the two-part series at DIY: GEN3 Timing Belt + Waterpump + Oil Seal Change - Part 1 and DIY: GEN3 Timing Belt + Waterpump + Oil Seal Change - Part 2 , mainly because it gives good detail on also changing out the oil seals -- a worthwhile addition, especially at 120K+ miles.
