Power Steering Pulley Removing Tool

I may need to remove a leaking power steering pump from my 19996 Camry. The replacement pumps require the reuse of your old pulley. The tools in the stores are listed for the Ford and GM. Is there a special size for the Camry -- any suggestions on finding one?

Offhand, I don't remember having to use a pulley puller.

Do you already have the pulley nut off? IIRC, the procedure is to hold the pump steady (sticking it in a vise is the easiest way), keep the pulley from turning (if you can get some channellocks to grip behind the pulley nut, you're golden, but it seems like I had to improvise). Then you just remove the pulley nut, lightly tap the pully with a chunk of wood (just not a steel hammer), and pop the pulley off.

you don't need a pulley puller for the p/s pump as long as you can get the nut off
