Thumbs up 92 Camry.....Looking for exhaust system (TRD, Borla...etc)

Havent posted here in long time. Looking for a exhaust system for my 92 camry. Not a loud ricey one, but a deep sounding, clean exhaust system. Looking everywhere but no one really has a selection for this car to choose from.

Its a 2.2 liter 4 cylinder LE.

Here a pic.

I just look at the magnaflow site. When you put in the year 1992, the Toyota brand does not come up.....

Go with ebay, they have the best deal on the internet. Beside, it's just a muffler, custom weld job will make any muffler fit any car. So plz dont type down "camry" or year into the search, none will pop up.

^ nope...especially since it doesn't just bolt-on to the gen3 exhaust system

that'd be A LOT of money to put into an exhuast system that you'd have to hack up to make fit

I have the TRD exhaust on mine...

I had to make custom mounts but the flanges and everything lined up.

really? that's good to know.

that would give a lot more options available to the gen3 community then if the gen4 exhaust pretty much just bolt up.

presumably when you say that it needed custom mounts, you just had to readjust the hangers?

I had to remove the original hangers (bolted on), drill two holes (from inside the trunk) for the rear hanger, and make a bracket for the front hanger using the holes and bolts from the original.

If I have time, I'll take some photos.

good idea relocating the hanger mounts instead of the hangers- saves a lot of trouble when doing it at home

True, and it doesn't ruin the resale of the muffler if I ever decide to change it.
