4th Generation Power window not working!

I rolled my windows down friday, and went to put them back up and heard a loud popping noise coming from the right rear door, and I noticed that my window isn't coming up. When I got home I took the door panel off, and it seems like the "teeth" are not lining up if that makes sense. I can hear the motor "humming" when I use the switch so i'm guessing the motor is working.

Also if I move the piece with the teeth just right it will catch and roll up/down just a little but will fall back down.

Does this sound like a regulator issue?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Sounds like the regulator. I got a motor/regulator combo on Ebay a few years ago when the LF failed and it's been fine since.
FWIW
YMMV

I appreciate it. Hopefully it won't be terribly difficult to swap out.

Thanks again.

Pick up a regulator/motor combo from your nearest wrecker. I just replaced my LR about 3 weeks ago for the same problem you mentioned. You will most likely find the cable frayed and unwound from the motor pulley. Be sure to grease the cable and guides with lithium grease.

Yeah, I figured that I might as well do the motor too since i'll be in there. I don't wanna end up having to do the same thing over a couple weeks/months down the line.

Thanks again!
