Dear TN,
I have a couple of questions about doing an auto to manual swap?
For anybody who has done a swap how do you prevent the check engine light from coming on? I used a paper clip and got around the park neutral switch, so I can turn the car on. Now I have 2 codes that cause the CEL to come on, P0773 AND PO758, someone please help me out!!!
You will need a resistor box to fool the ecu into thinking the shift solenoids are still functioning. Or get a manual ecu, you will not loose timing when the ecu commands a shift that way.

hmm, a manual 5SFE ecu sound quicker and less of a headache, I already have way to much to think about, Does any 4th gen 5SFE Owner have an extra ecu off of an Manual setup? I would like to plug it up and see if I could get rid of these damn check engine lights!!!!
If it's just the engine light that u are trying to get rid of, I'd open the gauge, flip the back side and just take off the bulb. I dont know if it's a good idea, just giving u option here
well I take that back, on the auto there are 4 connections, a that monitors the speed of the spider gear, 2nd and 3rd are solinoids and 4th is a neutral switch
I think I'm confusing myself, I figure there are 2 for the manual, and 4 for the auto, but when I have the trans side by said I'll let you know if the speedo sensors could be swapped or if they have to be swapped at all
