Hey guys well after having my camry painted about a year and a half ago and spending 2500 for it, i had som stupid kids get into a fight near my car and thrash my rear end so now its time to rebuild it for version 2.0 im thinhking parinting it a dark rich midnight blue, and maybe add the BMW/SLR side views, most likely shaved rear mouldings, any ideas on where to get a nice front grill for a 99 camry? i saw 1 on ebay but its basaically a chromed out stock 1, or any DIY for the chrome mesh?? ive also decided on my new rims, the black 17" RTX titans on some falcon tires and looking for a suspension with a very modest drop, maybe like 0.5 inches if any1 knows of 1 that would be great
You mean Falkens? I have the Ziex 912's and they're not so great. I'd recommend something a little better. If you're looking for a small drop, try the Tein H-Techs out. As far as the grill, I think you're pretty much out of luck since you have the '99 Camry with the non-removable grill. You could consider the gen4.5 front conversion though..
dude I have the Falken Azenis tires, I swear to you these are the stickiest tires I have ever used, you'll be asking for a stiffer suspension when u get this tires warm!!!!

What other tires have you used? I'm looking into a new set but with a budget in mind. I've heard great things about Yoko S-Drives and the the BF Goodrich KDW's but they're a little too pricey for me..I was thinking about getting some Kumho SPT's.
yea the H tech looks preety good, i want a very small drop in the rear because the rear end is already heavy as hell rite now, as for the grill im thinking about just cutting out the grill in there rite now and just putting in some chrome mesh:S and i think the guy at the shop said the rims come with Falken 912's or something close to that, ill find out as soon as i get enough money to buy them lol paying for school sucks you know!! lol

I actually used the SPT's before I got the Falken's and they too were awesome, what shocked me about the tire was both the price and performance, How could a tire that gives so much feel and handle cost so cheap??? I'm still not able to understand this, but the SPT's are bar none best bang for your buck, everything else is a lil more expensive and for the most part they have their perks. Another great tire would be the Kumho MX's its the step up from the SPT's

Thanks for the advice. Yeah I have hookups for the SPT's so I think I'll get those and call it a day. Sounds like it will be a huge upgrade from my current Ziex's.
BTW, Camry_guy, good luck on that grill. Post some pics when you complete it.
