Emblem attachment

I need to attach new emblem on the trunk. it is old emblem so old athesive has to be taken out and new applied. Where do I get something that will hold?

local parts store. 3M makes a glue specifically for that.

i had the same problem before.

i went to my local parts store and got some double side tape
the package said "molding tape" by 3M

i second the molding tape. its a double-sided foam tape.

id stick with some form of glue over tape, usually- emblems have intricate designs and curves to them which will make it hard to cut and shape the double sided tapes. goodluck!

I've always used Automotive "GOOP"...Available at auto zone, NAPA, Advance stores, Pepboys..

Remove all the old adhesive from the emblem first, (I usually use my dremel with the wire brush attachment on a slow speed) apply small amounts of the goop with a toothpick or something similar wait a minute or two then apply the emblem/s where you want them.
