3rd Generation Wheel Offset 94 Camry V6

Just wondering what offset(s) will work with a stock suspension.
(absolutely NO intentions of ever lowering it - not my cup of tea)

Doing a search did pull up some useful info, but still left me rather confused.

I had a 4 cylinder 94 Camry in the past that I put a set of 15 inch OEM 95-97 Avalon wheels on. IIRC, I had ran 215/60/15's on them vs the 205/65/15 the V6's Camry's came with. From what I remember, there was NOT a lot of room to play with out back, I don't recall there being too much space between the inside of the tire & the rear strut. Looking back on it, the 6 inch width of those Avalon wheels was probably NOT the most ideal for that size tire. There was probably some slight bulge going on there, which might explain how close there were to the rear struts.

Back to the PRESENT here .....

I recently picked up another 94, but this one is a V6. From what I've been reading here, the V6's seem to be more wheel swap friendly than the I4 cars.

When it comes time to replace tires, I was thinking of doing a wheel upgrade at the same time. I'd like to go with no less than a 16 inch wheel, but I'm really leaning towards a 17 inch wheel at this point. More specially I was thinking a reasonably priced set of take offs off a newer Camry SE would look nice. These would be the 17x7 45mm offset with 215/55/17's.

Are these going to fit ok w/o rubbing on the rear struts ?.

I really want something that will bolt on w/o any need for spacers.

TIA.

Here are some gen 6 SE wheels on a Gen3.5

Should fit your car with no problem. Offset on the stock alloys for my 95V6 was 45.

Those look good on there.

Are those tires 215/55's ?.

Anyone out there ever put \/ these \/ 17x7's on their Gen 3 ?. ( I think the offset is 50 vs 45 though)
