Gen 4 to Gen 3 eng swap

Hey, I've got a 97 wrecked camry with the 2.2 I-4. and a 93 camry 2.2 I-4 with a bad engine. So i was wondering what i'd have to do to make it work? thanx

if you're just swapping the gen4 engine into the gen 3- just swap the wiring harness as well and plug in all the sensors that fit. then replace sensors if they don't read the same

going backwards would probably be a problem though (putting a gen3 engine into a gen4), as the newer engines generally have more sensors than the old ones
