1997 Camry Exhaust

So my 1997 Camry LE (4cyl) threw a code and I'm almost positive that it's for a bad cat. I know my cat is bad anyways because of the fact that it smells my car up like egg. Therefore i need to change my cat along with my flexpipe that has a hole in it. I found this setup which is quite pricey but may be the cheapest i can find.

The cat is $88 alone.. Is there anyway to just put new flex piping on it because i know they just sell the actual flexible material.

Also sense I am doing exhaust work i was interested in replacing my muffler. Possibly to something after market without a nasty ricer sound. Something that i can maybe weld a nice tip onto or already with a tip. Any brands that you guys know that will not sound ricey or really raspy. Something with a nice idle and nothing TOO loud. It is a I4 so i do not want anything like a honda exhaust.

Any help would be great ! Thanks !

Look into Magnaflow, TRD, Apex, etc. For sound clips check youtube out.

a good exhaust shop can replace the flex pipe with different ones they have in stock...but that one you have in that link would cut out alot of the labor cost associates with a custom job.

as for muffler, the ones listed above are good. magnaflow is prolly the mildest and you can get then with or with out tips.
