I was hoping someone here would help me out on this project. I am planning on installing interior courtesy lights in my 1994 Camry. I found
this helpful thread, and it helped me decided exactly what I wanted, but I still need some help.
I've never really worked with the electrical systems in my car, so maybe someone could give me a couple quick hints?
In the thread I linked to above, sn1cko posted: "I ended up tapping into the dome light behind the driver's side 'A-Pillar,' ... in order to get the lights to behave exactly like the dome light, you will need to wire the lights directly in parallel with the dome light. That is, run the negative end of your accesory lights straight to the negative side of the dome light bulb...you want the dome light switch to control all of the lights"
I was wondering if there was another way to wire into the circuit without having to go behind the pillar. Anything underneath? Possibly around the fuse box? I am adding a minimal draw (LEDs), so overloading isn't an issue...
Thanks in advance for any help!
