did u see the ebay head lights.. they look so clear i bet there would be more light... anyone have them? they are cheap but are they even glass? or DOT? or whatever it is

yeah thoese were posted rescently but they are 9006 and 5 right? these are listed as H4s. and for the record, the gen3 clear headlights had a worse output(mostly due to lack of spread) then the stock ones. im willing to bet these are no different.

That's the first time I've heard anyone say the the DEPOs had a worse output than the stock lamps. Is it pretty noticeable? I love the looks of the clear DEPOs, but I certainly don't want to go backward in output quality. The stock lights are already less than stellar. How bad are they?

i wasnt very clear there i realize, maby just used the wrong word. the output is the same...the distribution is whats worse. many of us have noticed...including me...that they create 2 focused beams of light instead of an even spread. thoes beams are very bright...maby brighter then stock. but the spread is poor to the point that you can get the feeling your driving with a big flashlight. its hard to describe without pics though and it was never a draw back that would overshadow the better look of the lights.

most people once using the lights would never go back to stock because well....they jsut look so damn good.
