Exclamation 2-Inch drop for 92 Camry ????

I cant seem to find any applications for a 2-inch drop for my Camry. The most I can find is 1.80 which i dont think will be enough.

My car is wearing 205/50, 16 inch rims.

Help?

only true 2" drop i know of is the purple Tenzo springs which arent manufactured anymore to my knowledge ... Rdizzle had a set that he sold to LazyAccent, idk who else owns a set here

the 1.8" drops will probably be enough for a 16" rim, however if you want to sacrifice some ride quality you can always go with coilovers for a bit more $ and have 100% control over your ride height

Thats for the help.

Ride quality is not a big issue to me, more interested in the overall look of the car.

So you believe 1.8" will be enough for a good drop?

Just wondering if theres anyone on here with a 2" inch drop could post a pic of your car =)

I think it would be pretty hard to tell the difference between a 1.8" versus a 2" drop.

I've got H&R Sport Springs with a 1.25" drop on my '95 V6 with 16" BBS wheels and really like it. It's subtle, but definitely got rid of the 4X4 look. I didn't want to be slammed.

Of course, I'm running 205/60/R16, which was the recommended size for my application, rather than 205/50/R16. So, my tires fill the gap more.

Not looking for the slammed look either. But the bigger the tire thread, the smaller the rims looks especially on a 16" rim. The 205/50 fit my rim perfect. Now a subtle drop would complete the look and im kind of leaning towards the 1.8" drop.

the only thing that i would be wary of with the 1.8" drop is the companies that provide that drop are known to sag in the rear ... especially if you have a 4cyl

i would not get any of the large drop springs without tokico shocks. all or most of the 1.8" or greater drop springs are soft and cheap and using them on OEM shocks will result in a crappy ride, bad handling, and will ware both the shocks and springs out pretty fast. thoes who say otherwise havnt had a ride in a car with a better setup.

btw....coilovers FTW

i think as far as 1.8" drops are concerned, i would definitely do what bigbird said (go with tokico struts)

he used to have the Sprints and i think his car looked hot, but i know eyeball96 didnt like them when he got the car for a while, i dont remember if bigbird liked them or not

IMO Sprints > Dropzones tho

i liked the look but they were soft for me...specially after drivin around for a long time with OEM shocks. the springs Joe put on are H&Rs and i love the ride and stance but it sits a little high. i think tein s techs are the perfect compronise. 1.7" drop and a good stiff spring.

3rd Generation

From your other post it looks like you got the v6 correct?

If you go with tenzos and tokicos you'll get a really nice 2.0" drop will a tiny bit more in the back than the front, but the difference is barely noticable.

If you go with sprints and tokicos you should have a little bit more even of a drop, but it wont be quite as low.

If you need more than those, go coilovers!
