Question running wires

Hello all whats the best way to run a wire from the engine bay to under the dash on a 98 Camry LE im trying to install running lights but cant figure out how

I'm not too too familiar with the 97-01 body. But on my '96, I ran the wires though the drivers side wheel wheel and then through the firewall, right along where the car wires on that side go.

did you drill into the wheel well im trying to find a way that doesn't involve drilling

I have a '97 and went through the drivers side wheel well. Easy to see from the engine bay and on the other side it is where the trunk release goes through the firewall (big rubber fitting). I fit a 3-gauge wire through it, so you can get a lot through it...

NO drilling btw

Darn got it wired but not i cant get any power to the lights im using a tap a circuit to a switch but i dont think the power is reaching toe switch is there a way i can tell if its getting power i will try and post pics tommorrow.

best way is to use a multimeter. It can tell you voltage among other things.

Sounds like you just need to find a constant on fuse and tie into it. That's assuming you have a switch on your lights. The other option is an accessory fuse that is powered only when the car is on.
