strut tower question

does anyone know if the front strut tower is the same length in distance across as the rear strut tower? jw. i know i was planning on making a custom rear strut tower bar but i was just curious if it was close to same size as front? i could atleast use the mounts and such.

I think the rear is a little bit smaller!

You could always look for ones with smaller widths like civics or mr2s or something and measure that

If I remember correctly, the rear is smaller by 4-6 inches. You would need to make custom brackets too.

I shall, i plan on takin out the rear deck sometime this week to measure. who knows maybe i can find a strut bar for another car that would mount up perfect. who knows, if not i can custom make one, i have all of the tools and equipment at school to design and build one. +1 for being a Pre-Engineering major
