gen 3 rough idle and acceleration

Hi all. I have a '92 3VZ-FE camry that has recently just started running rough, it sounds like a miss. I have replaced the plugs, distributor cap, rotor, and wires and I still have a rough engine. I have used fuel injector cleaner in the tank twice in the past four weeks. I bought the car in 2004 and have not replaced any parts or belts. Any ideas or thougts would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You.

How about getting a spray can of air intake cleaner. Does wonders for the I4 and the other V6.

Running rough... meaning the car's making a rough noise? Does it actually move so to speak?

Does the idle drop suddenly? Could be a dirty IAC valve (easy to clean - sometimes needs replacing - trivial job really... even I can do it :P ) You'd also clean the butterfly clip too...

I'd be interested to see if it happened when in Neutral mate. There's a few things it could be, but need a tad more information champ.

Thanks for the reply's everyone. I replaced the remainder of the plug wires, the ones in the back that I could not see at night, and the car runs like new again. I routinely run Lucas Oil injector cleaner in the tank twice a month and clean the intake with spray once in a while. I put NGK platinums in and gapped them at .44. I got this info from AutoZone, just making sure it is correct.

Has anybody use the Seafoam in the intake before? Just wondering if it really works.
