spark plugs and cables and cap.

ive searched and seen quite a few answers but nothing is consistent. so my question are.

What is a good spark plug and cable combination that promotes performance?

and

Does the cap really mater? Ive seen the clear ones but dont really see a difference.

Newer Camrys are already running Iridiums. And I'm not sure if E3 is going to do that much more unless you add MSD ignition, but those parts are available primarily for Detroit hot rodders (I haven't search their catalogs).

What kind of car? Depending on the year and engine, the car may not have a distributor.

Cars 92-01 had platinum plugs and some had dual ground dual platinum plugs because of the ignition system. Get the ones appropriate for your car because getting the wrong ones will reduce service life of the plugs by as much as half.

Iridium plugs won't do much that will be noticeable and may just be an unnecessary expense and can reduce service life if they don't have platinum on the ground electrode. But this will depend on the car you have.

My car is 96 camry v6.
Recently I use the NGK Power Cable & NGK Iridium spark plug.
Can't feel any different.
Just gain some psychological power.

I've seen a lot of discussion on air intake conversions - must be done for performance enhancement and seems like it would not hurt the pocket book too much.

Search the forums and the DIY threads to find out what you gain versus cost.
