yeah I would be funny on buying one without getting it rebuilt, its the e153, if I'm not mistaken I'm doing the swap from a140 to e153 and it has been hellish

it's the e53- slightly longer gears than the e153 but not as good synchros

also, from what we have been able to tell, can use the automatic axles isntead of needing 5-speed axles when doing a swap
