3rd Generation Will 225s fit ???

Hey guys wasssup?

As a couple of you know I finally got some rims, so I am now in need of nice tires!

My rims are both 17X7 and not sure on the offset.

Just curious if the front should be able to accomodate 225/45/17s?

For the back I have 215/45/17s w/5mm spacers, so there shouldn't be any rub on the strut.

Thanks

It should say the offset on the inside of the wheel. I'm pretty sure you can fit 225's on a 17x7, but depending on the offset, you may have rubbing issues. For me, I had more clearance issues in the rear than I did with the front.

get the same size tires on the front and the rear .... either 215s or 225s should fit if your offset is within a reasonable range

wouldnt be gangster ... 215 vs 225 is barely noticeable when theyre on the same car, there would be very little benefit, not to mention you wouldnt be able to rotate tires

Okay, good points, I guess I have to wait until I'm rich and I can afford 12 sets of tires

Thanks guys.
