1999 Camry easy performance mods?

Hi, Im new to these forums and new to the whole car modding scene in general. So Im a total noob to everything pretty much hah, but I am hoping to gain some insight from some of you more experienced guys.

So I have a 1999 4cyl camry, and besides its decent gas mileage, its pretty suck worthy as far as performance goes. I only have 44k miles on it too, its good living right in the middle of the city =]

So my question is, what are the best ways to get my camry up and running better as cheap as possible? I was looking at this "Dragon air intake kit" by weapon R, and that seemed pretty decent. Other than that, im pretty clueless hah. Any help?

well i mean for small things like that i guess you can add an exaust system and headers. but the main answer i keep getting to see big performance.. you would have to change the internals but then at that you would not be all that fast.. so if you have the money and time go turbo.

1.

2. read the stickies in the general camry discussion section and in here...LOTS of info.

3. figure out a budget with a real $ amount then search for what youd liek to improve...suspension, performance, visuals...ect.

4. come back and ask any questions ya cant get get anwsers to goin through thoes sources.

but two words of advice. suspension is gonna be the best bang for buck, and there is NOTHING cheap that can improve performance...especially with a 4cyl auto.
