Difference in short blocks

Regarding the 1MZFE...

So... I have 97 Non-VVTI heads that are ported and polished, and all the stuff of a 97 non-vvti motor. I need a new short block considering i spun a bearing. Is there any difference between the 94-95 and 96-99 short blocks? There is a 50 dollar difference at JIS Auto Engine, and I was curious if there is any real difference. I will be doing the knock sensor relocation mod regardless, so that won't matter. Any input is appreciated. There is not much info on the short blocks and the differences.
