Oil pump, rod bearings, timing belt, water pump, plugs, oil pan gasket, freeze plugs, spark plugs, anti freeze, oil and filter, valve cover gasket.

Honestly, if you have to ask, it might be a good idea to have someone else do it.

If you want to save some money by doing this yourself, add in rear crank (main) seal.

Is there the option of buying a remanufactured short block? If you need to get the engine going and do not want to be rushed for completing, reman'd unit will be just as good.

Your question is not clear enough. Portugalfocus listed the maintenance items you could do with it, and probably are a good idea. Why are you replacing your rings? Are you tearing the engine down in car and at least honing the cylinders? Are you doing this yourself, and if so, what's your experience level? If you're paying a pro to do it, what's your price point?

If your getting the rings done, get every seal you can done on their. Bearings, probally get a new oil pump too. You could also get the heads redone.

All depends on how much $$ you wanna spend. But for sure get all the main bearings and seals and at least hone the cylinders.

After the rebuild, be sure to prime the oil system BEFORE cranking the engine. Also after priming and then cranking, it's a good idea to change the oil after idling for ~20 minutes. I lost my last rebuild from impatience
