yellows in the low beams?

one of my headlights burned out and i thought to myself...yellow light is technically best for nightime visibility, so what would happen if i got some 9006 yellow bulbs rated at 2500k into my low beams?

i've actually never seen that done before (personally) , and an HID retrofit is out of the question as the camry is my beat-around commuter car. i'll most likely end up getting silverstars but i just wanted to see what others thought about this.

3000K is traditionally used for fog lights for visibility reasons ... ive seen people put them in their low beams, a buddy of mine has them in his low beam projectors on his supra, they look fine

i think they look fine on HID projector setups, and silly on halogen setups but thats jmo

Check first to see if yellows are allowed in low beams.

4300k is the best light output.

If you are looking for the best bulbs for light output the Sylvania Xtravisions are brighter since they don't have that blue coat on the glass. If you are using Osram Silverstar, then that is fine since those don't have the blue coat.
