I recently installed K-Sport Coilovers on my GEN3 with my TRD Sway bar. My buddy also redid my rear subframe bushings. After the installing the K-Sports I am getting an annoying clunking metal sound in the driver rear. I checked the end links and it is good, I checked the sway bar bushing and it is also good. What else can I look at to fix this problem.?????
I am heading to the shop tomorrow to pull the sway bar and redo the teflon.
ANyone have a similar problem when they installed their K-Sport Coilovers with a TRD/Whiteline Sway bar combination?
Any minor detail would be great.
Thanks in advance

How are you sure the sway bar link is good? Have you tried to tighten it more? I thought the same one my car, but turned out it was just shy of being fully tightened.

Employed at Toyota in Parts, again.
The shop just tightened the ring on the coilovers that attach to the endlinks. The sound on one side was eliminated, but after driving 10km the other side started *cling* *clung*
What is the known issue with the TRD RSB rubbing against something underneath?
I bought some rubber tubing with the same diameter and was going to start putting it around the RSB (like sound deadening when metal hits metal)

Yeah, but don't coilovers use a metal mount not the oem one? I was thinking the mount myself as well.
Yea the coilovers have a metal mount.
Update: here is something that was over looked and didn't occur to either me or my buddy at the shop. Since the endlink has a very tight pivot, my endlink was kinda croaked and all it took was to twist it straight at 90 degrees.
Although the rear driver side link had croaked stance it did not make those sounds. And after adjusting rear passenger link, the sound has disappeared for now!
Thanks Adam for your help
