Strange Noise

I've been hearing this noise fro a while now. Since i washed my engine it started, i dont know why it has anything to do with the engine was but when ever i go over a slight bump or hill, i hear a :clanking" sound. its s soft and settle one but its there. It is also coming from the front passenger side, what could it be?

Did you wash your engine with high pressured water? if so you might have something hitting against fans/belts or the fans themselves are misaligned. Maybe check for anything loose or dangling (just a wild guess)

Hi
check for shock if is worn, then check Suspension top plate and front bushing. These worn item cause generally an clunking noise.

shocks are a year old, and look fine, they arent making the noise. i dont think its the top since the noise isnt heard while the car is parked, only when running and it can be well heard from the inside of the car...idk about the bushing

I'd suggest check to see if anything looks like it's moved out of place and just happens to be knocking against something it shouldn't. Had that happen to something in my trunk. Drove me crazy until I located it and moved it to stop the noise. Somethings things are easier than they appear. Hopefully this is the case with yours.
