What is this part?

Excuse my ignorance in advance. I've got a 2000 2.2 Camry. There is a hose that tees into the filter box to throttle body hose, and that short 2nd hose leads to a large sealed plastic box. The hose looks like an accordion and is cracked, but it is permanently fixed to the box so I can't just replace it. What is this box called? I can't find a parts diagram anywhere online.

I believe the small box is called the resonator.
