3rd Generation can't find gen 3 rear suspension part

Hello,

This is my first post to TN, I have read this great forum for several years now and have not found better info anywhere on the net concerning Toyota's........Thank you very much for having and supporting such a great source of info

I have a 92 Camry and it has 264,000 miles.

I have searched TN gen 3 camry threads for this subject and have not found anything yet that is close----could be my search words perhaps, so please excuse this request if it is a common thread.

The lower rear suspension arms are attached to a formed sheet metal crossmember that is starting to rust quite a bit where it bolts up into the body.

I am hoping that maybe I can find one of these used from a wrecked donor car, in New Hampshire this rusty crossmember will likely keep me from getting a inspection sticker

I have included some highlighted pictures from OEM Toyota parts and service manuals.

Any help/experiences on this would be most appreciated.

All I can say is what a timely post!! Just going through this myself today.

Went to put in my TRD RSB and although I did know my crossmember was slowly biting the biscuit, went to my mechanics and found out it was a lot worse now than I thought, so of course I have to wait until I get the one I have sitting in my garage and have it all done at once. One of my end links is done so will do it at the same time.

Anyways, start trolling your local u-pick junk yards. If you keep an eye out, some will be in not so good shape, but some will be surprisingly good condition. This is what I did and found one with pretty near no rust on it. Once you do though, I'd strongly recommend a good rust proofing moving forward, like Krown or such to keep form any further issues. Picked mine up for a mere $50cdn. New if you can get one, you're looking at several hundreds from what I found.

Good luck!
