4th Generation HELP! Swap from manual cloth to leather seats (with a power driver's seat)...

I need some help. I have already searched the forum for similar posts and there are some but the help provided wasn't quite adequate for what I need.
I just purchased a leather interior for my Gen 4 LE V6 Camry, which includes a power driver's seat. I previously had all manual seats.
Has anybody done the wiring for the power seat and if so, could you help me out with it? A few people have said "just hook it up to the battery" but there are a few different sets of wires, other than the standard seatbelt warning wires (one red one white). I'll take a picture this Friday and upload it and see if somebody can't point me in the right direction.
Any help is appreciated!

PS. Gabe if you read this, thanks for the seats! They're fantastic! Now if I could just hook up the driver's seat
PPS. I know one of the sets of wires is probably for the side airbags, which would be nice to hook up (if I can do it the RIGHT way). But, more than likely I'll just leave those alone...

Good luck with the install.

Hopefully when you got the seats you got both ends of the pigtail harness.

I'd bust out a service manual for the seats or if you don't have one, check which wires come off each switch to the pigtail then add power and ground to see if they operate correctly. You can go directly to the battery, but I'd advise against it. I'd put a fuse on each circuit of about 10 amps. Good luck again, it's not hard just a little time consuming if you don't have all the tools to do it.

For power seats, you should have at least two switches to move the seat. Take the wire harness and find your ground wire. There should be 1 ground wire and 2 positive wires for each. Run a wire to the ground and to each of the positives. Then move the switch to make sure the seat operates properly. Its possible that there is only 1 ground and 1 positive wire going to each seat. If thats the case, wiring is really easy. Just put in an inline fuse and connect the power. You could run directly to the battery and jump another wire over to the passenger seat. Just use a 20 amp inline fuse to protect the circuit.
