Camry 2001 Maintenance

So my V6 Camry 2001 hasnt had any maintenance for a long time and i would want to know what are the most important things to maintain. My car has about 110k Miles on it and i dont think I have changed anything in the last 30k miles except for the oil/air filter and seafoam(vacuum pipe only).

Anyone know what are the most vital things to change?
Jiffylube told me these recommendations:
1. Timing Belt
2. Automatic Transmission Serv
3. Radiator Serv (Green)
4. Fuel System Cleaning Serv
5. Fuel Filter Serv

Which ones should i get service on and how much does it usually cost? Is there anything else i should know to maintain my car?

A bit costly esp the OEM parts and labor too. Underchassis parts is also a must to check. Pads, Tie Rod ends, balljoints, sway bar links and bushings. The list goes on..DIY is also an option.

Well first thing, dont go to Jiffy Lube, the dealers only a couple bucks more for oil changes or diy.

Get the tranny fluid replaced as that is probally the most important thing on that list.

I'm not sure I'd let Jiffy Lube touch anything. But YMMV.

If you want to keep the car, I'd do a complete timing job that includes cam/crank oil seals, water pump, pulleys, drive belts and valve cover gaskets. Add $400-500 labor to parts. Change out both radiator hoses if not all coolant hoses.

I'd also drop the transmission pan and replace the strainer. A Fram ATF kit for $15-20 works well. You probably have a good amount of steel plate shavings and other wear particles to get rid off from the pan bottom.

No need for "fuel system service" except maybe a bottle of Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner $6-8 at parts store.

Fuel filter: is this a small, wimpy filter below the air filter housing? I'd change it. It's like a $25-30 part. After engine is cool and pressure relieved, a 15 minute job for the mechanically inclined. But 1 hour labor at a shop, like another $80-100.

GATES TCK257 timing component kit $89.79 (incl two idler pulleys and
belt)
FEL-PRO TCS45890 crank seal $6.27
FEL-PRO TCS45889 cam seal set $8.55
GATES K060410 Alt/AC belt $13.09
GATES K040345 PS belt $8.61
AISIN Part #1610029085 water pump $61.79
Total ~$188 + shipping

If needed: FEL-PRO VS50471R valve cover set (with spark plug tube
seals) $30.79

The only thing I didn't see on the list is oil pump seals.

Thanks for the reply,

Do you have an estimate of how much everything will be at mechanic?

On a V6, the crankshaft seal is the oil pump seal.

My guesstimate is:

"complete" timing job with parts mentioned: $700-800
fuel filter job: $100-150
transmission drain/refill: $70
transmission strainer change: $200

Note that ATF drain/refill is faster and simpler than an oil change. But shops like to charge like it's a really tough job.

I'd ask for a package price. Except there is no way to tell if some parts were actually replaced, unfortunately.
