Seafoam the TB and clean the butterfly with a toothbrush before you replace the whole thing. Chances are good the TB is just dirty and the port for the IAC is clogged.

Check out youtube for a how to video Seafoam the engine. There is a DIY in the sticky section at the top of the forum for cleaning the throttle body. Check it out.

$430 is a joke. These things can be cleaned with a $4 can of throttle body cleaner and a small toothbrush. If you need a new gasket, it's like $2 at Autozone.

IAC failures are common on Toyotas because they used a bi-metal thermostat spring instead of information from the ECU on RPM, coolant temp, air temp, and a strong stepper motor to operate the rotary valve. Well, could have been better designed I guess.

Google on "camry IAC cleaning" for everything you need to know. See also:

If you really need a new one that will plug up next year, it's $166 (Non-Calif) - $185 (Calif) + shipping:

Here's a good DIY thread on cleaning the throttle body and idle air control valve with some good pictures. This thread covers your generation Camry 4 cylinder engine. If your car is the V6, it is still basically the same procedure.
