or take it to the muff shop, have them remove the stock cat and resonator, put in a hi flow cat, and then your choice of muffler. be ready to go back in a week with a head ache and beg for them to put on another resonator.
I don't know with the V6 but with the 5S you want a short ram with any cheap cone filter, that's awesome!!
You have loud on demand( passing, revving) and you just slack on the gas when the pigs are around.
Since I installed that on the I4 all my friends want that sound but just can't get it with their car (vw).
And that's gonna cost ya 15$, use the stock plastic flexible pipe if your cheap, or bend a metal pipe if you can.
The other day me, a BMW and a recent infinity (not my friends, just friendly lead foots were going thru traffic, "urban assaulting" our way between the cars, and it was awesome, we all sounded the same!!!
Haha this is from her cardomain actually. I remember she asked me about where to get a TRD kit or something.
But yeah, I'd recommend Magnaflow for the OP. I've had 2 and they were quiet but you could kinda tell they were aftermarket (slightly louder and deeper). If you want louder/more aggressive tones, consider the Apexi N1 (real one) with 2.25" piping. I have that setup and the sound is great on the 5S-FE. I can post videos if needed.
