3rd Generation big tear in door upholster, how do i repair?

i got this big hole on the inside of the passenger door , like as if a small shark bit the upholstery. I need to identify the material first? how do i do that? (probably that sticker inside the door right?) Once i figure it out, where and what brand of upholstery repair kit should i get? the hole is 3.5x3.5 inches in size just to give you an idea.

EDIT:
the trim is FC17, the site in the sticky does not help http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homep...pho/colour.htm

Its difficult to tell without a picture of the problem.

My advice would be - start looking at junkyards. There are hundreds of thousands of Camrys, and not very many interior colors were available, so its not too hard to find matching parts.

I had a cut in one of my door panels, and I found an exact match at the first place I called for $30.

I will warn you that I doubt a junkyard will know the trim code, or would take the time to check. You might ask if the interior is brown, grey, or beige, and that might help narrow it down.

Fabrics vary, so the door panel insert may be different, so you may have to look around.

Get the fabric and some foam and put the foam in the hole. Then take it to an upholsterer and have them patch it up. Or take the time to get some foam and just pick a color you like in a different color and have the re-upholster the entire door panel.

This would cost way more than buying a matching door panel at a junkyard, and you would have to upholster all 4 doors to make them match. Its not a bad idea, but its too much work and/or money.

I had no problem finding a match at a junkyard, and I live in a small town.
I called one place, and asked for a Camry door panel. They said they didn't have one, so I asked for a referral. The guy gave me two numbers. The first place had one for $50, the second place had one for $30. They even gave me all the clips. I cleaned and installed it in less than an hour.
