3rd Generation Toyota Camry XLE 94 Radio install help

I have a Toyota Camry XLE 94. I am installing a Pioneer CD Receiver Model DEH-P3100UB. I have the wiring hooked up and it works!

The problem is i can not fit the CD reciever into the Radio deck area.

Any tips? Or do i need to go buy some parts?

You need to take pictures. There is enough room for 2 single din units so I fail to see why you can't fit 1 in there.

Common problem. Try taking a dremel tool to the inside of the bay where the radio goes. There's really nothing you can hit in there that will mess anything up. Just make sure you can see what your doing (work light) and use common sense, of course.

edit: Kevin, he's taking about rear clearance, as in depth.

Oh, ok. If it's rear clearence you need, try doing your wiring as neat as possible and keep it bunched together. Then when putting the radio in, direct the harness into the lower right hand corner, there is a space there that the extra wiring will fit into.

No? You gave it to another guy in another thread that I was a part of, but it was not directed at me.

I have a problem in my 1996 camry le. I am trying to install an aftermarket radio which i got on eBay. I got all the diagrams amd connected everything with butt-splice crimps instead of a wire harness. I tried to turn on the radio but had no power. I also noticed the clock and the dome light power were out. However, the cigarette lighter is still working fine. I even undid the wires and wired it again and the same problem occurred. Any suggestions? I thought it might be the fuse, but the cigarette lighter is on the same fuse? Please help if you know anything on the subject.
