Need Rear Struts on 98 Camry XLE V6

Hey guys,

I've been informed that I need two REAR struts for the Camry for it to pass inspection.

They told me I may need Endlinks (If they break taking the struts out), strut bushings, and the two new struts.

Where would be the best place to order these parts for cheap (They quoted me $950 for labor and parts)

I'm in Canada, but don't mind order from the states ...

Anything else I should be aware of with this project, or what should be replaced while everything is apart? Thanks!

1998 Toyota Camry XLE V6, 170,000 miles.

Rockauto.com has everything for you. The prices there, are great. You can always check ebay. I got a set of front and rear endlinks a few weeks ago for about $80 shipped. Struts, you cans swap you old coils over if you want or get the set with the ones already installed called "quick struts". The bushings can be ordered when you get the struts.

I just changed all 4 struts on my Camry. I usually buy KYB GR-2 struts from http://www.tirerack.com, but they were sold out of the rear struts.

I found a seller on eBay that sold KYB GR-2 struts and I got them shipped for $260 (all 4), so I did that. If you can do the work yourself, you can save a lot of money. I also spent about $225 and ordered all the misc parts from an online Toyota dealer in California (like the front strut mounts, upper/lower spring insulators, front and rear sway bar bushings),

My end links were fine, as the climate here is mild in WA and there's no rust.

Monroe Quick struts are another option.

You might as well change the rear sway bar bushings while you're at it. It's cheap, and not much more work.
