Well, in my early years my camry went thru two absolute ____ (insert 'nice' word here) batteries. They wouldnt crank in NY winters. Finally in 2000 the car switched to an Exide Nascar Select 730. After almost 10 years, the battery cranked over every time til tonight. The battery leaks limited acid, so I just keep it clean. Well, tonight I left the girl I was hooking up with (I dont feel like jumping into a long term relationship again except with the cam

). Thats the last time for that. I left my car in the 'ON' position with the engine off so the alarm wont be a pest & so she could listen to the radio. Thank God she lives in a decent part of Queens, I stop to get some food, & she left the window open with the car in the 'ON' position. On my walk back to the car I ask her for the keys and she's like oh ____ I left them in the car. I was like oh thank god no one stole the Cam. Well to top it off she left the window defroster blower on at Hi. Little to say, the starter wouldnt crank all the way. She was embarresd and in my head I was like this one deserves an award.

But she's a blonde so I let it slide.

So I call my friend to come a decent way to jump my car, and he comes by in his 2005 Honda Civic EX. & it was a sad moment to see a honda help a Camry.

Well the Cam started up, and I promised to give my friend $10 to fill up his gut. The night ended well, & i figured I finally post a story.
As for my questions, I know my battery is almost 10 years old, but it has cranked the car over always, except for reliable blonde mind laspe. Should I get a new battery? I mean even when it was 10 degrees last winter the car cranked fine.
Another question, where do you guys usually ground the negative cable, I put it on that hook looking thing by the valve cover, is that ok?
