Well, I'm going to make fog lights a project of mine soon. I'm trying to figure out what ones to buy. A lot of people say get the OEM driving lights and buy a mount... but I like the blue "aftermarket" ones that most auto parts stores carry. Which is better?
Also, is this the OEM switch for the fog lights?
I found it on e-bay and I want to get the OEM switch, but aftermarket lights.
How hard is it to wire these in? Is there a tutorial anywhere? I couldn't find one in the search.

You're better off buying aftermarket ones as the OEM is quite impossible to find. When I did my install it was time consuming since the bumper needed to be removed to cut sections out for the fog lights, then wire it through the firewall to the dashboard.
Personally I think both look good. The aftermarket look a lot cleaner if they're installed in the bumper cutouts (got the idea from bigbird). Here are some pics of my setup to give you an idea:
The Gen4 Dealer installed kit had a turn signal stalk / light control with an extra 'dial' for turning fogs on/off. Same one can be found on 99 to 2003 solaras.
That part was $$, so check a junk yard first.

The dash has two empty slots next to the mirror controls and the dimmer.. I'm pretty sure those are for extra options like the fog lights. That's where this one looks like it would fit right in there.

I did the OEM install this past January, and that switch does not look like the switch I got. The switch has connections for 3 wires, and the switch has a small light on it.
I still have the instructions from the OEM kit. I got the 2000 camry fog light kit from Ebay. Then the remainder for the parts, the Bezels, the switch, and the brackets I got from toyotapartspeople.com

My gf's mom has a XLE with them and I looked at it today. Her's are Hella fogs with the switch that flips up and down, not a press in switch. But it does go in the area that I spoke of earlier.
How much did all that cost you in parts?
