Minimal Ground Clearance

I'm going to installing a custom lip kit pretty soon on my vcv10 but I'm unsure about how far down i want the kit to sit. I'm going to be doing a full front, back, and side skirt kit. I want it to be noticeably low, however I still want to not have to worry about going over speed bumps too fast or going up and down in parking garages/ driveways. How far down/ how high off the ground should the kit sit? I know it's not a camry but you guys know your stuff.

well that depends on the drop you have now. depending on how low you sit now, id say no more then 4 inches.

There's a minimum ground clearance somewhere in the book of california vehicle code, it was 3" and I'm sure there's a reason for it ...

hes not asking in terms of legality, plus i dont think they care in FL anyways. hes just trying to keep his kit off the ground.

I'm just saying they must have taken into account of speed bumpers, drive way and stuffs before putting down those number in the book, it's for safety hazard after all. And yeah cops usually dont ask for it anywhere ...

Thanks for all the feedback guys! I'm not going to be lowering the car via suspension just because it's also my DD and I have no idea how long im actually gonna keep it. I think I'm gonna go measure the height of the speed bumps, and the incline height of the parking garage at my school (UCF) and just go from there.

Also, anyone have any kit suggestions? I want something the replicates the Gen 5 S kit. Something classy and sporty, but not too extreme. Maybe even some pictures of well done lip kits?

i havnt seen any lip kits for the second gen es. but to be honest, i think they look great without one. IMO they look the best lowered a little with a nice set of wheels.
