Canada Is it worth sinking Performance $ in my camry?

Grettings all. I am new here as you have probably noticed...
I bought a fully loaded 1993 Toyota Camry V6 LE Sport for $2000.

She's got 400 000km's on the body but it's in pretty good shape, under body is mint and most of the engine was replaced and rebuilt.. friends brother owned it and was a mechanic. Engine now has about 17 000kms now running very strong.

My front tires are balding. I replaced both CV shafts, and got a complete brake system overhaul - pads, rotors, calipers, the works. In about 2 weeks I'm gonna perform some cosmetic surgery on er' and fix the cancer right up.
Plus I want a whole new paint job, blue or something.

here's some pics of my baby:

she's 100% stock, thinking about investing some dough in cosmetic beauty (rims, lowering, and other details) and some beef to back it up. I believe this model has 188hp and a decent amount of torque, I'd like to aim for something like 220-240...

where could I find parts for my cars model? I searched, got no luck.

U can go turbo, 3vz is a solid engine block so 220-240 is doable.

the 3vz should hold well over that. hell the 1mz will hold 300whp on stock internals no problem. so like ricer says, custom turbo would be the way to go. you already have the 5 speed and since your OBDI its much easier to tune. hell id rather mod yours then mod mine plus you got tonythetiger up there and hes the go to guy when it comes to turboing a camry.

dude i swear, i saw this exact same ad on kijiji a while back and I was banging my head wanting to buy this.

i guess u got the dough haha, probably the best camry combo there is.

I saw swap out the 3VZ if u get a chance and pop in a new 1MZ and start by supercharging it.

V6 LE 5spd, you have a gem there dude!

I would leave it white tho. It costs less to have it painted the same color!

A white Gen 3 is beautiful..IMO

I did have an ad on kijiji regarding my ride. I WAS gonna sell her for a 4x4 but finally came to my senses and scrapped that idea.

thanks man. I've been told its a really rare car. I've seen plenty V6 LE Sports lately, just none of them fully loaded; leather and 5 speed.

Very nice!! and congrats!
Have the same engine and would love to do a turbo on it, but afraid to find otu how much $$ it'll run. Have seen the TRD supercharger put on it as well, but no clue how it's done, but it seems to be doable for sure.

Maybe we'll see you at the monthly east end meet or the west end. Always nice to have another camry there!
