99 V6 Stumbling under WOT

Well I have aquired myself a 1999 camry V6 w/ 150k on the clock fairly cheap.
It has a few problems. Of course CEL which is 2 bad O2 sensor's and a blinking ABS light here and there.
Now while the car is still cool not up to operating temp all is well. Car rev's freely all the way to redline in nutruel and while on the road. Once it get's to operating temp it want's to stumble a hickup. In nutruel you can rev it up then it immediatly falls flat on it's face and stay's around 1000-1500 rpm also does the same while driving.

I have a few things I'm thinking it could possibly be. But before I start throwing money at everything would like to see if someone else has encountered this problem..

Thanks guys and yes I searched and came up with nothing.

Well, sounds like when the car operate in open loop mode when cold everything is ok. However, when it enters into closed loop operation things go out of whack.

I'd give the car a tune up, including valve clearance checks and new plugs if they're 150K miles old. Of course, this is to make sure an out of tune engine doesn't kill the new oxygen sensors I'd suggest you look at.

If the car isn't CA/NY/MA (all three use Calif emissions), then get the Bosch planar type sensor from rockauto.com. These are more resistant to contamination and you should use them whenever possible. They are as low as $60.79 + shipping (Bosch 15733). These "universal" ones require you to follow an instruction sheet and splice the old connector on there. But pay $22 more a downstream (after converter) Bosch 13353 is also an excellent planar type with a connector on there already. However, for $28 more the front isn't a planar. That stinks.

Will do. Was just checking to see if it could have been something electrical like AFM, etc, etc.

Something that's gonna cost some $$$. The car was just driving and thats about it.. Besides oil changes I do believe nothing else has been done to the car not even the timing belt. Guess the first thing I'll do is change plugs and get myself a valve cover gasket set, then move onto the timing belt and everything else up front.

Already gotta buy new O2 sensors sense 2 of them are bad!
Thanks for the heads up my friend! Hope to be a regular here in this camry section as well!

1st off, Just because your car is not in CA/NY/MA as said above, does not mean you do not have a Cali emissions car, and visa versa.

2nd, do not use Bosch Spark plugs are O2 sensors in a Toyota. they do not like eachother.

agreed, my 91 camry is a cali emissions car that originally came from georgia.

Also no bosch stuff in any of my yota's..

I usually goto sparkplugs.com and get denso O2 sensors from them at a resonable price.
