Hi TNers,

Just a quick question...should a wheel alignment be needed after I recently replaced both front axles? I have a 95 Camry LE with 91,000 miles.

Thanks very much for evryone's opinions.

No, you are not changing any of the adjustable suspension angles when simply replacing the axles.

No, unless they've settled over the years. Do you see wear on inside or outside edges of both tires?

You'll know when you drive it. It should drive straight and drift just to the right all by itself if right on.

It shouldn't drift at all on a level road.

It doesn't drift at all when driving in the city but at highway speed,65mph it will drift to the right. Any suggestions?

various shops offer an alignment check for a very nominal fee, can't be bad to have it checked.

Before going to have the alignment checked try switching the 2 front tires with each other. See if it now pulls to the opposite side. One of your front tires may have what's known as a radial pull. If the car still pulls to the right, then switch the 2 front tires back to their original positions and take the car to an alignment shop.
