What color interior? I think my friend has most of the center console/e-brake swap for a Tan interior and he doesn't need it.

ITS TAN!! thats what i need..!

but my moms boyfriend who is helping me with the swap said we could do a solinoid (or w.e it is called) brake (where i press the brake flip a switch and it locks them in place) or i could leave it in gear so do i really need the center console?

any thoughts?

otherwise ill take the console and handbrake assembly and maybe he could throw in the shifter assembly if he wants

I'm actually confused on that. I've never heard of anything like that to be honest. All I can think is like a solinoid to open a door, trunk, or gas filler cover, but never an e-brake.

Does he mean liek you press a button and it automatically engages the e-brake?

As for the DX/LE/XLE V6 to I4 swap for the center console swap, the items needed:
1: Main center console (Friend has, I got it for him and has no damage from what I remember)
2: Center console lid (His is damaged I think, so that should be all you need to get)
3: E-Brake handle with plastic bottom piece (Friend has, I sent him as well)
4: Short e-brake cable and nut (Friend has, I bought it brand new at the Toyota dealer)

I'll have my friend send you a PM today about it. He's on this forum, but rarely posts.
